Video Game Tournaments
We are now hosting an all out fun night out Friday for all of the video game players in the area. We are getting so many requests for tournaments, we've decided to turn our Friday nights into tournament central! We have 30 TV's, systems of Xbox 360's, Wii, Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, N64, Super Nintendo, Nintendo, Dreamcast, Atari, PS1, Sega Genesis available for tournament games.
Nothing in particular will be scheduled, but more on the lines of open tournaments. The popular game at the store is Halo, but will do ANY game. If we don't have it, bring it and we'll have a tournament in that.
Entry will be $2 to $5 per game. We will run numerous games throughout the night and many in succession. Just jump in one to play.
Example of how it works. We'll charge $2 for Halo 2. We'll start the tournament at every 8 entrants - first to 50 kills (our random levels) will win $10. Super Smash Melee - 8 or 16 entrants, single elimination, $2 entry, winner wins $10.
This format will allow for many games to be played throughout the night.
If a player wins 2 consecutive tournaments of the same game, they'll have to sit out the next tournament. This will allow others a chance to win.
We will try to keep it flowing, we've have experience running tournaments.
Rules: Clean language, no trash talking or rude behavior will be tolerated. We want to keep this fun for everyone! No cheating, no progammable controllers. You are more than welcome to bring your own controller and highly suggest it. No arguing with the store judges, we'll do our best to judge fairly, but no arguing will be tolerated. Just win next time!
Games we'll play: Any! As well as Halo 2, Super Smash Melee, Guitar Hero, Tekken, Dragonball Z, Gears of War, Madden, NBA Live, Fight Night, Dead or Alive, Project Gotham Racing, Nascar... etc those are just examples.
